Dr. Ray Guarendi,
who has a doctorate degree in clinical psychology, is
the father of 10 adopted children. He has worked with
school districts, in Head Start programs, mental health
centers, substance abuse programs, in-patient
psychiatric centers, juvenile courts, and in private
practice.
Guarendi is a member of the Catholic Answers Speakers
Bureau, delivering talks throughout the country. He
appears once a month on Catholic Answers Live. In
addition, he has been a guest on national radio and
television programs and regional programs in more than
40 states and in Canada.
His books include You're A Better Parent Than You
Think! (now in its nineteenth printing) and Back
to the Family. He is the speaker on the
seven-cassette tape set: Raising Kids Right: Giving
Parenting Back To Parents, a Catholic Answers
product. He also writes a syndicated column on
parenting.
Coleen Kelly Mast,
who has a master's degree in health education and an
honorary doctorate degree, has five children ranging in
age from nine to 26. She is the author of numerous
publications, including two textbooks: Love and Life:
A Christian Sexual Morality Guide for Teens and Sex
Respect: The Option of True Sexual Freedom, and is a
speaker at numerous conferences throughout the country.
Mast was selected by the Vatican to be one of 30 experts
on the family and on human sexuality at a major
Church-sponsored conference on that subject.

to college crises along with family, personal and
professional life issues are dealt with in a
straight-forward, no-nonsense, and often humorous way.
